about

Abbie (she/her/هي) is a menstrual equity advocate, political strategist and community organizer, and a creator of content and community.

At 18-years-old Abbie co-founded Red Equity, a national period poverty organization that has now distributed over half a million period products, hosted dozens of paid interns, and supported the passage of laws across the United States.

Abbie was also recognized as 22 Under 22 by Her Campus and E.L.F. Cosmetics for her menstrual equity work, including writing a bill in Colorado to provide period products for free in all public schools.

Her passion for storytelling and creating community conversations also led her to social media, where Abbie’s content has taken her to the DNCC, as one of 200 inaugural creators covering the 2024 Democratic National Committee’s Convention.

From periods to policy to posting videos, Abbie’s work is constantly evolving but always about building people power.
